Forms are vital
Forms and documents (see below) are necessary to ensure proper administration of the estate. Because we will not provide legal advice, the choice of which forms depends on you. Keep the following in mind when you are looking for the correct forms on the Judicial Council site.
Are you a creditor owed money from the decedent?
Are you a recognized relative of the decedent?
Are you a relative but not yet recognized?

Creditors
You are due all that you can prove you are owed. We settle all legitimate debts. So be ready to prove them.
Claimed Heirs
If you believe you are an heir then we want to hear from you. But you must provide documents that establish your claim.
Recognized heirs
If you are already a recognized heir, then welcome to the front of the line. Simply ascertain if any forms above apply and submit if necessary.
